Ya-Da-Da—Ta-Da-Da-Da…

If I knew how to add music I could add music “The Stripper” to this post but I’m afraid the knee doesn’t look the part.  But you know you need to  have something to start off the post.

ouch 6 Lookin’ kind of ugly.

ouch2 A bit lot misshapen.

ouch 3 I’ve had bruising about 1/2 the way down my shin.

ouch 4 8.10.09 001 Wrapping from the middle of the knee from the inside to the outside. I’ve kept it wrapped pretty snug to help keep the swelling down.

more knee 8.10 001 If I knew how to photoshop I could really make the colors vivid.

more knee 8.10 003 But there is still a pretty good lump still so I bit the bullet and called and made an appointment with the doc.  I’ll see him tomorrow and he will probably fuss at me for waiting over a week.  I swear I have had very little pain since I got the swelling under control with the dreaded ice packs.  It has ached enough at times that I’ve taken mild pain pills drugs to keep it in check but it seems to be when I’ve been on it too much.

So I'll let you all know what my doctor says about my greenish purple gor-ge-ous  gam tomorrow night.

Shaaaaa-BOOM!

Thanks,PS! I haven't had a compliment like that in at least... a day or seven. Thanks for makin' me smile.

Storms are coming in this evening so I don't know if I'll be able to get back on-line or not. I hope you have a great evening and I'll drop by as soon as I can.

I am so glad you are going to the doctor and yes he is going to yell at you for waiting too long. YOU should have stayed off of it..and by that I don't mean you were kneeling on it smarty pants! I mean you didn't need to be hobbling around on it as much as you have giving us the corn an cabbage report!

Pastor Sharon got a new picture woohoo look at you two... purdies as a picture, legs for days how tall are you again!

Sad part is, I think your knees look better than my two healthy ones! (except for the lump. that's just hideous)!

Howdy
Glad your knee is doing better .
Please don't try to over do yet.
Let it heal a little longer than you can give the whole stripper
pole dance thing a whirl .
I'll say one thing for you Helen you sure don't let the grass grow under your feet .
Nothing keeps you down .
Wishing for a good report
from the Dr.
I think I'll being hearing Herb Alpert and the Tijuana brass in my head for the rest of the day :)
Or maybe visions of
Judy Holiday From Born Yesterday .
She is one of my favorites.
Ba Boom :O Ta Da Da Da
Hugs
Happy Trails

Helen - OH MY COW. That looks horrid. I always knew you were a colorful character but I just had no idea apparently. Now, this wasn't an excuse to show off your legs was it? I wish mine were that skinny.

Let us know what the doc says!

Dar, my legs go all the way to the ground. Actually when I buy jeans I get 34" in the legs to wear with my regular type shoes and tennies. If I were going to wear a taller shoe, you know like I wore younger, the Dolly Parton CFM heels I buy 36" lenght in my jeans. I was 5'9",but when I went for my bone density, they measured me 5'7".

Thanks, Hetty. After I thought about it I figured that I ought to make sure things were okay and lessen the problems as I get even older...lol

Beck that knot had me worried too. That's why I decided to go get it checked. We didn't have any crutches around here but we do have canes. I tried that on Tuesday but was afraid I'd hurt myself worse trying to use it.

Michael, he sorta stuck it too me about I should have come in as soon as I could've after it happen. I told him it didn't hurt to walk on once I got the swelling down. Well, you should have come in sooner.

Katydid that was what he was concerned about also, hence the xrays I had to get so I won't know anything until in the morning.

Laura I was surprised too how much it dissipated just from the day before. It sure showed up better at the doc's under florescent lights.

Caroline I was much more comfortable with him after I found out he also has a couple of schnauzers. He laughed when I told him how I fell with Suess under my feet waiting to play 'chase the ice' game. His little almost 1 y.o. little girl schnauzer loves the ice game on the kitchen linoleum, too.

Terry do you realize that there will be people that read this and say "who's Judy Holiday?" And if I tried to do the stripper in front of anyone they'd be yelling at me to "put it back on". If this was the olden days I could earn me a pretty good supper from the tomatoes and other veggies they'd throw at me. I catch pretty good.

Robynn... if I were gonna show off my gams, I try to do it when not lumpy and colorful. Esp. with the ugly baby poop yellow that so nicely is wrapping around my knee and halfway down my shin.

That looks AWFUL!!! I can't believe you waited so long to visit the doctor!

I am jealous, however, since I have short, stubby little legs instead of those fab long gams of yours.

I have The Stripper on my Ipod, so I might have to go listen. It's in my head now, anyway (thanks for that!)
