Shall We Dance…

butterfly and tennis ball I’m in the mood for love…  garden love that is.  I wondered as I wandered with my camera yesterday what is it that makes the strings of my heart go zing every time I go outside.

Odds and ends 015 It’s almost like soul food.

Odds and ends 006 It doesn’t seem to matter whether it’s one impressive big flower…

Odds and ends 028Or a mass of flowers..Odds and ends 026 I just gotta have me some Flower Power.

Odds and ends 019 Even plants with no blossoms…

Odds and ends 022 Or lots of blossoms. It doesn’t seem to matter.  The fascination is there.

Odds and ends 023 Climbing plants…

Odds and ends 029mixed with flowers that need to have there feet in the dirt and grow to their individual glory, or masses of morning glories.

Odds and ends 053 These make my mornings. And good mornings help my day.

Odds and ends 024 These are my ‘crepes’… better than the cooked ones.

Odds and ends 030 Feed my soul.  The rest will take care of  itself.

You're so right, gardens do feed the soul. However low or upset I feel, when I sit in the garden - apart from not being able to keep still because there's always something that needs dead-heading or a weed pulled up - the problems feel irrelevant for a while, because the beauty carries on regardless.
Thanks so much Helen for the lovely remark left in my blog - actually cats (or pets) do it as well, because they love you no matter what.

I've heard it said that 'if you want to happy for a day, get drunk, if you want to be happy for a week, get married, and if you want to be happy for a lifetime, plant a garden'. Love your morning glories!

I love it all! The morning glories simply take my breath away!
Your garden is sooo beautiful, and I think you and your green thumb need to come over here and make my garden do what yours does!

I love it though... and my best days start out with a wander around with a cup of coffee in hand, just as the day is starting.

My morning glories are dying off for the summer nd it makes me sad. The nights are real cool here, sometimes in the 40's and the past week my morning glories have turned yellow and thinning out. Means fall is almost here and I am NOT ready!!! Your morning glories are beautiful. I love the color!! Thanks for sharing!!!

God bless~

Staci I wish my camera could get the true color of those morning glories... or any of my purple flowers... they always come out bluer but I love them and I love to share them. ***SOONER***

Caroline I think that part of the peace is the pulling and the trimming... I can focus on what the plants need and see their daily changes and I never ceaste to be amazed that these gorgeousities came from a little seed or a bulb. I can forget the world...

Hetty I like that saying... I may have to post it on my side bar. It makes me feel good that you enjoy my garden. I learn so much from visiting yours...

Katie if I could I'd be there in a minute! I've always wanted to go to Oz and I'd tend your garden in a heartbeat... But I'd have to have my iced tea for my stroll. Even in the winter.

Deb we did seem to have a short summer what with all the rain early on... I hate to see my morning glories go, too, because that means it's time to put the garden to bed for the winter.

You've just convinced me that, I NEED MORE FLOWERS!
I'll have to work on that.
