O.M.G. What A Wedding!

wedding cake I know you are supposed to see the wedding pictures first, but this cake was so awesome!  And soooooo good!  I just felt that the cake was represented the total sweetness of the whole night.                   (Photo by D. Menard)

Got an itch! Brandon Kizer I love this young man.  He has the most incredible personality and a wonderful singing voice.  Right here he was needing an itch scratched… Brandon and his beautiful wife, Chastity, who was also the Matron of Honor, and also has a beautiful singing voice…

Chastity sang at the wedding, a duet for starters, and then Brandon sang and played the piano during the time that Laura and Tyler shared their first communion.

Laura's brothers and sister etc This group is an ornery mess… and the most loving family of the bride and now the groom… My baby brother, Pop, sister Rachel, brother Josh, mom Diane, Laura the bride and Tyler the groom, brother Will, brother Benjamin and brother Paul.  We all clean up pretty good.

Helen at wedding Me, before the wedding. My momma would be telling me to stand up straight!  People didn’t recognize me which could come in handy in the future. (Photo by D. Menard)

the flowers  The bouquet…                    (Photo by D. Menard)

The bride and the groom Getting blessed.  Matron of Honor, Laura and Tyler and the Best Man.

Tomorrow the reception… and more photos, because this is the stuff that dreams are made of…

vaavaaavooom you look great Helen! and I agree the cake needed the first picture spot. I love flowers on a wedding cake. It looks delicious (and that is not just because i am cake deprived :))

Great photos! Wow! You all do clean up nicely! You look terrific, Helen. Perhaps you had trouble standing straight because your bra was too tight! LOL! Lovely cake. Lots of smiling faces. Pretty bouquet. Can't wait until tomorrow!

JoJo the love did fill the whole place. And the church was packed, s.r.o. Even T.C., the pastor, said they had never had a wedding pack the church so full.

Katidids, yes. The girls were properly corralled. And I kept it on the whole evening...

Robynn those kids are so cute together. They were relaxed and smiling the whole evening.

Yep Becky I was doing some fretting. It has been so long since the last time I whooshed and douched that I was sure I'd forgotten how to strut my stuff and I didn't want to embarrass my own self, much less the kids.

When I saw the photo of the cake Tina I just knew it had to be first. It was so beautiful and I loved that instead of the bride and groom they had the big M on top for their last name.

Actually, Hetty, I was already half tired from the drive down to Ft. Worth earlier. I just hadn't gotten my second wind yet. And I made sure the bra wasn't too tight because I knew I'd be a fidget princess if it was all through the wedding.

Medora it was a beautiful and magical evening. Everyone was so touched by it all.

Ronda, I actually felt like I had done pretty good on getting fancied up. And I made myself and my family proud so that was good.

You really look great. You look happy with that big smile. The cake, bride and groom looked great as well. Will we see Helen cuttin' a rug tomorrow?

Roslynn it is amazing to me still what a little make-up can do to hide a myriad of sins such as years of sun without sunscreen and if I had been able to do a better job of the make-up I could have done even more but I didn't want to outshine the bride... (yeah, right!)

Sara, I really did enjoy the wedding. The only fight I had with myself was to not cry... I didn't want raccoon eyes with the make-up.
