Yes, Babies, The Grinch Did Steal Christmas…

Christmas Stockings 001

Chloe 2003Chloe, my most precious darlin’, I will make sure that there is a little something in your stocking no matter where we are living.

Christmas Stockings 002

Christmas '04, etc. 108And SueSue, my little blond ding-a-ling, you can bet there will be a new ball in your stocking.  Mom wouldn’t ever leave you out.

But I promise that the best thing, the most important thing about Christmas is that we will be together, wherever we find to live.

And that is the most important thing in the world.  Being with those you love and those who love you.

  1. Oh Helen, you are making me sad!!! I don't understand what's going on, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. As I was making out my Christmas cards, I relized I don't have your address, since you moved. I think of you often and pray all is OK. Love ya and hugs to you!! What would we do with out our furbabies? They are truly lifesavers!!

    God Bless~

  2. That Grinch can be a real bas**** sometimes..

Helen, I'm trying to figure out if there's ANY SPORT that OU might have a winning season in this year. I'm starting to doubt it unless they take up, say, injuryball or something like that.

    Boomer Anyway!

  4. I'm a bit worried about what's going on in your world right now, but it's a comfort to me (and you too, of course!) that you have Chloe and Sue Sue with you, to get you through the hard times.
    XOXO

  5. It's amazing to me how my critters can be such a comfort during very turmultous time. They love us unconditionally. Its a shame that the human race cannot follow their lead.
I am worried about you, Helen! Whatever is going on, know that I am here for you. So are your furry critters AND GOD. I will continue to send prayers up for you.
But I can't help wanting to ask why, where, when, how and what??!!

    Take care of yourself!!!

  6. Helen - just adding my voice to the rest. I'm sure you'll say something when you're ready. This is not like you.

  7. Deb please don't be sad. It will be better for me. It's just lousy timing. It feels odd for me to not be decorating, but some people need to learn that I was an asset in the house.

Well Staci I haven't heard about anything going on with the wrestlers or the golf team yet. Got some newbies in basketball and losing Hand for the season in women's BB is definitely a downer for them. I guess it's just one of those things that has to happen periodically to remind us we are human.

Caution, like I said, it's more the timing. I will end up on my feet in a much less stressful situation.

Katie whatever would we do without our babies to comfort us and from the weather report is going to be at least a two dog night and I'm the one that has 'em!!!

Becky thank you for your prayers. I need them during good times as well as bad because, as you know, I'm kind of ornery sometimes. There are some things that I'm just not ready to write about but trust me I am and I will be fine.
Just getting away from stress is a very good thing.

Caroline it's good to hear from you. I hope your trip home was good for you. This time of the year is always busy anyway and that just made the timing for all this crap lousy. I just don't want to be told who I can have as friends or what I can or cannot do in a place that was supposed to be my home also. I don't try to run other people's lives and I sure don't accept that another person thinks they can run my life.

One of these days I am going to get a camera and boy will that be great in the mean time I'll keep using all the free online stuff as I discover it :)
I am still praying for you Helen so you hang on sweetie .
Life can be crazy but somehow it all works out in it's own crazy way .
Lord I lift up my blogging buddy Helen and I ask that you pour out simple clear instructions to her in the midst of all the chaos that goes on whenever we are not settled down where you want us to be .
Father just pour out so many blessings upon Helen that she has to give some away to make room for them all in her new home in Jesus name Amen !!!!!!!!

  10. Dear Helen,
I'm not so sure that God isn't working this all out in a different and special way. You are finding out who really cares about you( All of your blog friends certainly do) and your little furbabies are getting you past all of the intolerant crap. Maybe those little guys are ANGELS incognito.
    You will survive.

  11. It's a difficult time of year to be in limbo though there is never a good time-I know you are a tough survivor, girl and you will be OK. We always have a spare room here in Phx....
I remember when I had no roof and three babies under two, but I found a way & you will too. Prayers for a good safe place.

  15. I love farmlady's comment.....furbabies...angels incognito!
I am glad that you are doing well, now maybe I won't worry so much.
I understand about not wanting to write about it. Believe me, we all have our own things we don't write about.
I just don't want you to disappear and then worry that you are living on the street somewhere.
DON'T MAKE ME DRIVE TO OKLAHOMA TO LOOK FOR YOU!!!!

  16. I also understand that you are not ready to share or write about your situation......
I just want you to know I consider you a dear friend now and I worry:) So far away at times like these.....
I too am pleased you have your furry loves with you and to cheer you.
I know that all the good karma you have given out in your life will come back to you in bucket loads and all will be stressless and calm in your neck of the woods once more.

  18. I'm Amen-ing Terry's prayer here and am adding my concern to the list of loving friends here, Sass. I know you don't want to go into it but we who love you want you to be surrounded by love and comfort and peace and a place to feel the Spirit of Christmas. I'm worried.

  19. This is not a good time of the year for strees like that. No time is good, but Christmas... well, what can I say? I know you will land on your feet, and I hope that will happen soon. Lucky you to have two of the cutest little furbabies to cheer you up. I'd invite you to live with me, but it is freezing up here and areas an hour or so north of us have had over 60cm of snow last night. Sorry I have been out of commission for awhile. My computer crashed, but it is back up and working now.
