The best cooking is outside on the grill, where all the mess is outside. I also like a hot-dog on a stick (corny dog or hot dog outside). I'm easily pleased. If I want fancy I can go somewhere and pay somebody else to cook it and do the dishes! I love your blogs.GingerJarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18264306220362474678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-66131593709866831862008-10-01T15:51:00.000-05:002008-10-01T15:51:00.000-05:00I think it definitely takes more than just one ing...I think it definitely takes more than just one ingredient. I bake a lot, but I'm no cook. Spaghettios and hotdog would be almost pushing the effort limit for me lol. I generally let all those cooks in my family do it instead.MJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15508596301640968425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-46935000126783460282008-10-01T11:25:00.000-05:002008-10-01T11:25:00.000-05:00This comment is from "Missy" Helen's cooking roomm...This comment is from "Missy" Helen's cooking roommate.

I think it might be even better to define what is a "cook". This has been a long standing discussion among friends -- only a couple of us are really cooks and enjoy the process.

Nola I really loved your play on words.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-31992828317668513982008-10-01T09:33:00.000-05:002008-10-01T09:33:00.000-05:00I have decided I don't mind cooking, but I hate pl...I have decided I don't mind cooking, but I hate planning and shopping. As for the cooking definition: I think if heat is involved, it's cooking.Caution/Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11172990197662644455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-51302096511497636552008-10-01T06:03:00.000-05:002008-10-01T06:03:00.000-05:00LOL root hog is our fend for yourself nights! I do think I may be renaming to that I LOVE IT...

Cooking here is MOM will you make this or that for me and it always involves alot of ingredients and time... But lucky for them IF they ask I like doing it... what becomes boring and frustrating to me is when I HAVE to do all the chooseing and picking it out and cooking it too.. BLAH...

For me when home alone I found small cans of sketti O's and raveoli (one perfect serving) add a slice of cheese and microwave LOL... or noodle soup or grilled cheese or sometimes I get adventurous and make a salad...

Wonderful post~Laura ~Peach~https://www.blogger.com/profile/06436851234824883774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-90356000745831655162008-10-01T04:44:00.000-05:002008-10-01T04:44:00.000-05:00Lol...love this post! I have fads on cooking. If ...Lol...love this post! I have fads on cooking. If I don't have to work, then I like to "cook" something...otherwise it is just "whatever". I am very, very good at whatever and can make it very well. I think cooking is when heat is applied no matter how many ingredients. Because there are different types of cooking...but they all require the application of heat. Like for instance......I was at the beach and COOKED in the sun! or The girl was so gorgeous she was hot, really COOKING!! lol, lol or You've COOKED your goose now, buddy!! Better stop....lol, lol...thanks for the laugh:)Nolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06999422801245381422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-17403607840662301762008-09-30T21:55:00.000-05:002008-09-30T21:55:00.000-05:00I guess I never really thought about it in that wa...I guess I never really thought about it in that way. To cook, I guess means, you heat something up.
If not, then making a cold sandwich would be cooking. I don't consider that cooking. That's throwing something together, which, in my mind, is not cooking. So heating your Spaghettios, with or without the hot dog, is cooking.
There you go. For what it's worth.Twisted Fenceposthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15973165692768831966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6244310405074901666.post-35548664106473280942008-09-30T20:57:00.000-05:002008-09-30T20:57:00.000-05:00I kinda lean to the side of needing more than one ...I kinda lean to the side of needing more than one ingredient to call it cooking. Technichally, adding the hot dog make it cooking. Otherwise the opening/heating doesn't count. But what do I know?? As long as you surround yourself with people who can cook then what the heck ;)

p.s. I always enjoy your post titles!joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12112607125596693550noreply@blogger.com
