Am I The Only One...
That has trouble writing short comments? I've noticed that when I go to other blogs and read something I want to comment on, I seem to tend towards writing a small novella. I guess I feel that if I really enjoy or identify with something someone has written, or in Rick's case drawn, I must say more than, 'fun post' or 'good job'. It makes me envious of those whose comments are a little (a lot) more succinct.
I haven't had anyone yell at me yet to "just shut up, okay!" and I guess with this internet stuff we have all the space we want, but it's just one of those things I noticed about myself and thought everyone is either being terribly polite or they don't mind me expressing my thoughts on their space.
Personally, I like any comments... short or long. I just like to read and to feel like I've found someone, or some many, folks that I just flat enjoy talking to and I've pretty much never met a stranger. At least until I get to know 'em a little and then I'd wish they were a stranger.
No, not really. I'm pretty much a people person and I guess that I've found this wonderful wide world of friends just waiting to be met. I stand in constant and utter amazement of the technological breakthroughs in our world just in my lifetime.
I guess I'm just in cyber-heaven.

I agree with you. I enjoy the comments and look forward to them. I just like to know people stopped by. I also found everybody polite and so friendly. The world should blog! :-)
I always like to read your comments, just as they are. Heck, make 'em longer!
I'm the opposite...
I feel bad when all I say is "great post" or "I agree".
I enjoy all comments myself, so I leave them on other people's blog so they know that I stopped by that day. It's good to know that someone is listening.
I am totally the opposite. I find myself with not enough to say. I love comments, short or long. And I usually have more to say when I respond to each comment.
So, I say, "fire away"!!
You are welcome to leave a novel at my blog anytime...LOL. Or a short note if you like, I just get a good feeling when someone commits in anyway. I love your comments, so comment away!!
God Bless~
Debbie
? You aren't supposed to write a mini novel? No one told me? he he, I always try to write a little, sometimes it ends up to be alot! I think it depends on what is I read and how much time I have to comment?
I like the longer comments... they show the heart and soul of the commentor ... sometimes When I want to post but really dont have something worth saying I can sum it up into one word or sentance but it just depends on the post... so WRITE ON :)
I love getting comments! The longer the better!
sometimes I leave a short comment not because I didn't like the post but maybe it's all I can do some days is say "nice post, or that's was funny" or whatever. I at least want people to know I stopped by.
Sometimes I'm in the mood to ramble or I'm completely touched by the post and i'll leave a longer comment. In any event I love getting comments. I check right away when I get up and it just makes me feel so good to find that someone cared enough to say something.
I always had a hard time making friends and to think I could come to the blog-world and find y'all and nobody has told me to go away or left me ugly messages...well it's just means the world to me. I appreciate your comments Helen, you are so funny and compassionate and I love hearing from you...in fact I would love to hear from you more...;)
Oh you and me both. Why should our comments be short if we have a lot to say? Who cares if it is their post...if they put it out there then it is free rein to comment on. You can blab all you want on my postings, if I get bored....I'll quit reading it! However, I can assure you, that ain't likely!
I love long comments!! It shows the commenter got what I was posting about and had to say something about it!
First of all, I love iris. It is my favorite flower. I am so glad I found your blog through one of the ones I have been following for a time. You have so much to say that is interesting. Thank you for sharing.
